Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • at least one years' prior culinary experience in a quality and high volume establishment
  • knowledge of culinary methods and techniques
  • ability to multitask and pay attention to detail
  • previous supervisory experience
  • effective communication skills
  • ability to work onsite full-time in Galveston, Texas

Job Qualifications

  • At least one years' prior culinary experience in a quality and high volume establishment with an emphasis on scratch cooking
  • complete knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques and standards
  • excellent attention to detail
  • ability to perform multiple tasks at once
  • high-level product knowledge
  • experience supervising a team
  • food handlers certification preferred

Job Duties

  • Instructing and training employees in all aspects of food service and sanitation
  • ensuring meal services begin on time
  • ensuring that portion, appearance and temperature for all food items is appropriate and of high quality
  • coordinating and supervising the work of employees to ensure efficiency and adherence to established standards
  • maintaining a fast-paced and dynamic kitchen environment
  • providing friendly and helpful customer service
  • supervising a team to meet daily operational goals
