Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • at least one year culinary experience in a high volume establishment
  • experience supervising a team
  • ability to pass a background check
  • knowledge of proper food safety and sanitation standards
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to work onsite full-time in Bend, Oregon

Job Qualifications

  • At least one year prior culinary experience in a high volume, quality establishment with emphasis on scratch cooking
  • complete knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques and standards
  • experience supervising a team
  • excellent attention to detail
  • ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • strong product knowledge
  • friendly and helpful customer service skills
  • food handlers certification preferred

Job Duties

  • Instructing and training employees in all aspects of food service and sanitation
  • ensuring meal services begin on time
  • ensuring that portion, appearance and temperature for all food items is appropriate and of high quality
  • supervising a team of cooks and kitchen staff
  • monitoring food preparation and cooking processes to maintain standards
  • maintaining cleanliness and compliance with safety regulations
  • coordinating work schedules and duties among kitchen staff
