Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least one years' culinary experience in a high-volume kitchen with an emphasis on scratch cooking
  • Experience supervising kitchen staff or team
  • Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively
  • Knowledge of proper food safety and sanitation standards
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Food Handlers certification preferred

Job Qualifications

  • At least one years' prior culinary experience in a quality and high volume establishment with an emphasis on scratch cooking
  • Experience supervising a team
  • Complete knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques and standards
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to perform multiple tasks at once
  • High-level product knowledge
  • Experience providing customer service in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Instructing and training employees in all aspects of food service and sanitation
  • Ensuring meal services begin on time
  • Verifying that portion, appearance and temperature for all food items are appropriate and of high quality
  • Coordinating and supervising the work of employees to ensure efficiency and adherence to established standards
  • Monitoring food preparation and presentation for compliance with culinary methods and standards
  • Managing multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Providing friendly and helpful customer service
