Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum one year of culinary experience in a high volume setting
- experience with scratch cooking techniques
- ability to train and supervise kitchen staff
- strong multitasking skills
- familiarity with food safety standards and sanitation practices
- excellent communication and leadership abilities
Job Qualifications
- At least one years' prior culinary experience in a quality and high volume establishment with an emphasis on scratch cooking
- complete knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques and standards
- excellent attention to detail and ability to perform multiple tasks at once
- high-level product knowledge
- friendly and helpful customer service skills
- experience supervising a team
Job Duties
- Instructing and training employees in all aspects of food service and sanitation
- ensuring meal services begin on time
- ensuring that portion, appearance and temperature for all food items is appropriate and of high quality
- supervising kitchen staff to maintain efficiency and adherence to standards
- coordinating kitchen operations and workflow
- maintaining food safety and sanitation standards
- managing inventory and order supplies effectively
