Job Requirements

  • Food handlers certification preferred
  • ability to supervise and lead a team
  • strong communication skills

  • prior culinary experience

Job Qualifications

  • At least one years' prior culinary experience in a quality and high volume establishment with an emphasis on scratch cooking
  • complete knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques and standards
  • excellent attention to detail and the ability to perform multiple tasks at once
  • high-level product knowledge and ability to provide friendly and helpful customer service
  • experience supervising a team

Job Duties

  • Instructing and training employees in all aspects of food service and sanitation
  • ensuring meal services begin on time
  • ensuring that portion, appearance and temperature for all food items is appropriate and of high quality
  • supervising kitchen staff to maintain efficiency and adherence to standards
  • monitoring compliance with food safety regulations and company policies
  • coordinating work schedules and assignments for kitchen employees
  • maintaining inventory and ordering supplies as needed
