Job Requirements

  • Food handlers certification preferred
  • ability to work onsite full-time
  • must be able to stand for extended periods
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior culinary experience

Job Qualifications

  • At least one years' prior culinary experience in a quality and high volume establishment with an emphasis on scratch cooking
  • complete knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques and standards
  • excellent attention to detail and the ability to perform multiple tasks at once
  • experience supervising a team
  • high-level product knowledge
  • strong customer service skills

Job Duties

  • Instructing and training employees in all aspects of food service and sanitation
  • ensuring meal services begin on time
  • ensuring that portion, appearance and temperature for all food items is appropriate and of high quality
  • supervising the work of the kitchen staff to maintain efficiency
  • maintaining compliance with all health and safety regulations
  • coordinating food preparation and service activities
  • monitoring inventory levels and assisting with ordering supplies
