Job Requirements

  • complete knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques and standards
  • at least one years' prior culinary experience in a quality and high volume establishment with an emphasis on scratch cooking
  • experience supervising a team
  • ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Instructing and training employees in all aspects of food service and sanitation
  • ensuring meal services begin on time
  • ensuring that portion, appearance and temperature for all food items is appropriate and of high quality
  • coordinating the work of employees to maximize efficiency
  • maintaining strict adherence to established culinary standards and safety protocols
  • supervising and leading the kitchen team during meal preparation and service
  • monitoring inventory levels and reporting supply needs
