  • at least 1 year of cook experience
  • knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation practices
  • ability to follow instructions and recipes exactly
  • physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform kitchen tasks
  • willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
  • basic communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • minimum of 1 year cooking experience

Job Duties

  • Calculate the necessary quantities of recipe ingredients to ensure correct production and meet basic needs
  • ensure food is attractively arranged on plates
  • follow established procedures for the storage of food, supplies, and equipment to comply with sanitation and safety standards
  • follow standard recipes and specified preparation techniques to comply with diet requirements and provide compliant food substitutions when necessary
  • operate and maintain equipment according to department or manufacturer specifications to avoid damage or excessive wear
  • offer appropriate feedback on recipes or techniques to improve taste
  • perform other duties as assigned
