Job Requirements
- Six months experience in quantity food preparation
- Food Handlers Certificate if required by local city, county or state
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational, time management and prioritization skills
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Detail-oriented and able to meet strict time frames

- Experience with therapeutic diet preparation preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Detail-oriented with the ability to meet strict time frames
Job Duties
- Prepare and serve food using proper food handling and safety techniques
- Ensure food is served at the proper temperature and is visually appealing
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with established standards
- Assist in the preparation of meals during special events
- Follow strict time frames to meet service schedules
- Adhere to therapeutic diet preparation guidelines when required
- Communicate effectively with patients and staff to ensure satisfaction and address dietary needs
