Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior cooking experience preferred
- Ability to handle fast-paced kitchen operations
- Must have or be willing to obtain food handling certificate if required
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines
- Excellent attendance and punctuality
Job Qualifications
- Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff and guests
- Ability to speak, read and write in English
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
- Possess valid food handling certificate if required by state and federal regulations
Job Duties
- Cook and package food products prepared to order or kept warm until sold
- Receive verbal orders from front counter staff for food product requirements
- Maintain quality and production standards on all menu items
- Ensure food is fresh and high quality when served
- Manage portion control and serving temperatures
- Clean, stock and restock workstations and displays
- Operate large-volume cooking equipment including grills, fryers and ovens
- Ensure cleanliness of work areas and proper storage of food products
- Sweep and mop floors at end of shift
- Be checked out by Floor Supervisor to meet cleanliness standards
- Maintain sanitation, health and safety standards
- Demonstrate excellent attendance
