Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- able to carry up to 50 lbs
- capable of standing, walking, sitting, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling
- able to work in conditions with varying noise levels, temperature, illumination, air quality, and crowding
- able to handle sharp and hot objects safely
- willing to work long hours and overtime when needed
- able to maintain proper uniform and nametag
- able to adhere to sanitation and safety guidelines
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience in a high-volume kitchen
- knowledge of kitchen equipment use and maintenance
- moderate knowledge of food preparation methods including sauces and soups
- advanced knife skills
- ability to maintain sanitation standards
- ability to follow kitchen policies and procedures
- physical capability to lift and carry heavy items
Job Duties
- Carry out policies and procedures of Fantasy Springs Resort Casino
- keep dry storage and walk-ins cleaned and stocked
- use and maintain kitchen equipment
- prepare sauces, soups, meats, and other foods as directed
- demonstrate advanced knife skills
- assist with kitchen inventory and stock rotation
- maintain highest degree of sanitation at all times
- maintain proper uniform and nametag
- perform other job-related duties as assigned
- work effectively in a high-volume kitchen environment
