Job Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks
- Availability to work flexible schedules including nights and weekends
- Must have worked at Portillo's for at least one year with an average of 20 hours over a six-month period for certain benefits
- Willingness to adhere to food safety and sanitation protocols
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous kitchen or food preparation experience is an advantage but not required
- Ability to follow recipes and food safety guidelines

Job Duties
- Prepare all classic menu items such as Italian Beef, Burgers, Hot Dogs, and Fries to order
- Prepare fresh vegetables and sauces following recipes
- Maintain kitchen station cleanliness and organization
- Work efficiently with a sense of urgency during busy periods
- Monitor food portions and levels throughout the shift
- Collaborate with team members to ensure quality service
- Uphold sanitation and quality standards in food preparation
