Job Duties
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality, and presentation standards
- prepare ingredients such as portioning, chopping, and storing
- safely use kitchen tools, equipment, and appliances for measuring and baking
- follow food handling safety policies and personal hygiene procedures
- check and ensure correct temperature of kitchen equipment and food, report issues to management
- wash and sanitize kitchen areas, set up and divide workstations, and follow hygiene and cleaning procedures
- monitor food quality and portion sizes throughout the shift
- comply with company policies including safety, report accidents and unsafe conditions, complete required safety trainings
- maintain clean and professional uniform and appearance, protect company property and confidential information
- communicate clearly and professionally with team and guests
- cultivate positive working relationships and support team goals
- adhere to quality expectations and standards
- move, lift, transport, push, pull, and position objects up to 25 pounds
- operate safely on inclined, uneven, or slippery surfaces
- stretch above head and below knees, bend, twist, stoop
- stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- perform other reasonable duties requested by supervisors
