Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2-3 years of culinary experience
- Ability to work flexible hours including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds frequently
- Ability to push and/or pull 90+ pounds with assistance occasionally
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Authorization to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- At least 2-3 years of experience in a professional full-service kitchen
- Experience in an upscale restaurant preferred
- Graduate of an apprenticeship program or culinary school preferred
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain high standards
- Good teamwork and communication skills
Job Duties
- Prepare and service all food items, including hot and cold, for all meal periods in the outlets, banquets, and/or catering menus according to property recipes and standards
- Ensure food meets the quality, taste, and appearance standards of DMC
- Check and complete mise en place and pars to set-up the station
- Assist chef with inventory and ordering
- Maintain a working knowledge of properly storing, rotating, and maintaining products
- Execute all duties in accordance with DMC, Servsafe, and health department standards
- Maintain walk-in coolers and food storage areas on a daily basis
- Other duties as assigned by management
