Job Requirements

  • Able to be on feet for 8-hour shifts
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Able to push and pull up to 300 pounds
  • Capable of bending, reaching, kneeling, twisting, and grasping items
  • Ability to handle high stress and multitask
  • Able to tolerate varying noise, temperature, lighting, vibration, and crowds
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
  • Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends, evenings, and holidays
  • Physical mobility with reasonable accommodation

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Six months to one year of cooking experience in high-volume food service operation
  • Knowledge of kitchen sanitation standards and procedures
  • Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and presentation
  • Ability to operate and maintain essential kitchen equipment
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Problem-solving and mathematical computation skills
  • Professional appearance and personal hygiene

Job Duties

  • Prepare all food orders quickly and on time according to established recipes
  • Ensure food products meet specifications and standards before serving
  • Maintain fast and clean servicing of all menu items to servers
  • Prepare, cook, and season all food
  • Ensure quality and presentation of food products
  • Perform all station functions in prep and cooking areas
  • Maintain kitchen sanitation and adhere to regulatory policies
