Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • 3 to 5 years of culinary experience in a full-service restaurant
  • ability to work flexible hours including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to stand for long periods
  • must adhere to health and safety regulations
  • ability to follow recipes and food preparation standards

Job Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years of culinary experience in a full-service restaurant
  • experience in an upscale restaurant preferred
  • graduate of an apprenticeship program or culinary school preferred
  • strong work ethic
  • excellent teamwork skills
  • positive attitude

Job Duties

  • Ensure and prepare all menu items by following recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications with minimal supervision
  • receive food deliveries, store and label items properly to prevent spoilage
  • set-up stations by checking and completing mise en place and pars
  • assist chef with inventory and ordering
  • execute all duties in accordance with DMC, ServSafe, and health department standards
  • perform other duties as assigned by management
