Job Requirements

  • Cook experience
  • Ability to follow federal, state, and corporate food preparation guidelines
  • Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Must follow safety protocols including use of protective gloves and slip-resistant shoes
  • Capable of proper lifting techniques

Job Duties

  • Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions
  • Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning and maintaining food temperatures
  • Uses established ticket collection procedures during service
  • Cleans kitchen and maintains high standards of cleanliness
  • Stores or discards excess food according to safe food-handling procedures
  • Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized
  • Operates and maintains kitchen equipment
  • Assists in production planning, record keeping, and reporting
  • Assists in ordering and receiving food and supplies
  • Reports maintenance issues and equipment faults immediately
  • Attends in-service and safety meetings
  • Maintains good working relationships with coworkers and management
  • Performs job safely while maintaining a clean work environment
  • Ensures proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures
  • Demonstrates personal commitment to safety and follows all company policies
