Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of previous experience in food preparation
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to follow standardized recipes and safety protocols
  • Competency in food handling and storage per health regulations
  • Ability to maintain HACCP and production documentation
  • Willingness to participate in department training and services
  • Ability to manage time effectively to meet cooking schedules

Job Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience in food preparation
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and HACCP guidelines
  • Ability to use cooking equipment and techniques safely and proficiently
  • Capability to maintain accurate production and safety records

Job Duties

  • Prepare food according to standard recipes ensuring quality and safety
  • Monitor cooking times and temperatures using various techniques such as braising, sautéing, broiling, boiling, stewing, steaming, baking, and grilling
  • Portion, label, and date food for storage or transport following recipes and production orders
  • Maintain HACCP and production records diligently to ensure food safety compliance
  • Plan cooking and preparation schedules to meet specified meal delivery times
  • Inspect food quality during service to avoid delays and ensure standards
  • Perform cleaning assignments to uphold sanitation standards in food prep and serving areas
