Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a full-service kitchen
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights and weekends
- Must have a competitive spirit and strong work ethic
- Willingness to follow safety and sanitation policies
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members
- Capable of multitasking in a busy kitchen environment
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating in a full-service kitchen
- Ability to follow detailed food preparation recipes and safety guidelines
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and management
- Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude with a passion for cooking
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Job Duties
- Preparing high quality food to On The Border specifications
- Adhering to OTB safety and sanitation policies and procedures
- Communicating cook times and potential issues with managers and team members
- Completing assigned prep work to stock and set up stations
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
- Monitoring food inventory and reporting shortages
- Assisting with training new kitchen staff
