Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a full-service kitchen
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including nights and weekends
  • Must have a competitive spirit and strong work ethic
  • Willingness to follow safety and sanitation policies
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members
  • Capable of multitasking in a busy kitchen environment

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience operating in a full-service kitchen
  • Ability to follow detailed food preparation recipes and safety guidelines
  • Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and management
  • Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive attitude with a passion for cooking
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Job Duties

  • Preparing high quality food to On The Border specifications
  • Adhering to OTB safety and sanitation policies and procedures
  • Communicating cook times and potential issues with managers and team members
  • Completing assigned prep work to stock and set up stations
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
  • Monitoring food inventory and reporting shortages
  • Assisting with training new kitchen staff
