Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- ability to pass pre-employment background check
- legally authorized to work in the US
- effective communication skills in English
- proven cooking experience
- knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
- positive and friendly attitude
- flexible availability for demanding hours
- ability to work standing long periods
- ability to bend, kneel and lift up to 25 pounds or more
Job Qualifications

- proven cooking experience including line cook, restaurant cook or prep cook
- knowledge of food preparation principles and food safety regulations
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- ability to work as part of a team

Job Duties
- Prepare food for service using approved recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and portion control
- maintain safety standards while using knives and other food preparation equipment
- restock and break down workstation at the conclusion of the shift
- assist in controlling product costs by ensuring proper management of product waste
- clean, sanitize, and maintain all assigned work areas, equipment and utensils to meet sanitation standards
- work with speed and efficiency while multitasking effectively
- maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
