Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to pass pre-employment post offer background check
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Can communicate effectively in English
- Proven cooking experience as line chef, restaurant cook or prep cook
- Knowledge of food preparation principles, cooking methods and food safety regulations including handling, sanitation, and storage
- Positive and friendly attitude
- Open availability and flexible schedule
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Accuracy and speed
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Able to bend, kneel and lift up to 25 pounds
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Prepare food for service by chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces using approved recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control
- Maintain safety standards while using knives and other food preparation equipment
- Restock and/or break down workstation at the conclusion of the shift
- Assist in controlling product costs by ensuring the proper management of product waste
- Clean, sanitize, and maintain all assigned work areas, equipment and utensils to ensure sanitation standards are met
- Work with speed and efficiency, demonstrating the ability to multi-task and maintain organizational structure
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
