Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of relevant cooking experience
- Availability to work Tuesday through Saturday
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Basic knife skills
- Ability to take direction and follow recipes
- Good communication skills
Job Qualifications
- Culinary degree or related experience preferred
- Minimum 2 years of previous line cook experience in a full-service restaurant, preferably Mexican fine dining
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Ability to perform all basic cooking skills
- Capacity to work a single station independently
- Basic knife skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to follow recipes and take directions from leadership
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations
- Ensure food safety and sanitation regulations are followed
- Assist in receiving and storing deliveries
- Support the culinary team in daily kitchen operations
- Perform all basic cooking skills proficiently
- Work efficiently under pressure to meet service demands
