Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous cooking experience in a hotel or restaurant setting preferred
  • Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • Good communication skills
  • Capability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods and handle kitchen duties

Job Qualifications

  • Refined verbal communication skills
  • Two years of previous line cooking experience preferred
  • Culinary degree or related hotel cooking experience preferred
  • Ability to perform all basic cooking skills
  • Able to work independently at a single kitchen station
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to stand for extended periods

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook dishes according to standardized recipes and quality standards
  • Operate at a minimum of two kitchen stations efficiently
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations
  • Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to ensure timely food preparation
  • Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment
  • Participate in training and development activities as required
