Job Requirements

  • High school diploma preferred
  • 2 to 5 years of experience on a fast-paced cooking line
  • Food Handlers Card certification for California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Nevada, Texas, and Virginia
  • Ability to follow recipes and maintain quality standards
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and adhere to food safety procedures
  • Basic English communication skills
  • Passion for cooking and teamwork

Job Qualifications

  • Basic knowledge of cooking equipment
  • Food Handlers Card certification for applicable states

Job Duties

  • Manage assigned cooking stations including set up and stocking ingredients
  • Prepare and present dishes according to Lazy Dog recipes and standards
  • Ensure fresh, high-quality ingredients are used in all food preparation
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of equipment, utensils, and workstations
  • Follow food safety procedures and proper use of personal protective equipment
  • Communicate effectively with chef team regarding product, equipment, and food safety concerns
  • Maintain basic knowledge of cooking equipment operation and maintenance
