Job Requirements

Part-time availability including varied shifts such as mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends and holidays
Ability to stand for extended periods
Capacity to lift and carry moderate weights
Compliance with health and safety standards
Willingness to adhere to hygiene and sanitation protocols
Reliable transportation to the Weymouth, MA location

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous experience in food service or healthcare food preparation is an asset
Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Ability to manage time and handle multiple tasks efficiently

Job Duties

Assist chef in preparation and presentation of foods for patients, employees, visitors and special functions
Assist in overall sanitation of kitchen equipment
Ensure that food is attractively served and properly handled within Weymouth Health Board and JCAHO guidelines
Work well with peers and manage stressful situations effectively
Adjust to changing situations to complete tasks properly and thoroughly
Contribute to maintaining a safe, clean, healthy work environment
Understand daily needs of the department and work independently when needed
