Job Requirements
- Previous cook experience required
- Ability to work full-time Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:00 pm
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures
- Ability to lift and handle kitchen equipment safely
- Willingness to comply with company policies, including drug-free workplace
- Ability to perform physical tasks required by the job
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment

Job Duties
- Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions
- Serves meals or prepares for delivery using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards, ensuring food temperature and presentation
- Uses established ticket collection procedures during service
- Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Stores or discards excess food per safe food-handling procedures
- Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized
- Operates and maintains kitchen equipment
- Assists in production planning, record keeping and reporting
- Assists in ordering and receiving food and supplies
- Reports maintenance or equipment issues immediately
- Attends in-service and safety meetings
- Maintains good working relationships with coworkers and managers
- Performs job safely, maintaining a clean, safe work environment
- Ensures proper food presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures following HACCP standards
- Adheres to company safety policies and procedures including use of protective gear and proper lifting techniques
