Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • must be authorized to work in the United States
  • ability to stand for long periods
  • able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • basic English communication skills
  • reliable transportation preferred

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • basic cooking skills and knowledge of kitchen equipment
  • ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • strong teamwork and communication skills
  • willingness to learn and follow recipes precisely
  • prior food preparation or cooking experience preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • Prepare quality food for our guests to Islands' recipes, builds and presentation standards
  • maintain clean, safe and organized storage and work areas and assist with stocking and rotating product to ensure freshness
  • operate and maintain all kitchen equipment and follow proper safety and sanitation procedures
  • participate in Islands Culture of Respect that promotes inclusion among all employees
  • follow established food safety guidelines and health regulations
  • collaborate effectively with kitchen and service staff to ensure timely food preparation
  • assist in inventory checks and report shortages or equipment issues
