Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age to operate kitchen equipment
- Previous kitchen, culinary, or chef experience preferred but not required
- Experience and knowledge of kitchen equipment including knives, slicer, mixer, stoves, ovens, broiler, and pizza oven desired
- Flexible to work a variety of shifts
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks associated with cooking
- Must comply with all health and safety regulations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous kitchen, culinary, or chef experience preferred but not required
- Basic knowledge of knife skills and kitchen equipment use
- Ability to follow detailed recipes and food preparation instructions
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment
Job Duties
- Ensure the highest quality food is properly executed by adhering to recipe procedures
- Prepare a variety of food using different methods of preparation and various tools and equipment
- Follow company safety and sanitation policies and procedures
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with managers and team members
- Assist in maintaining kitchen cleanliness and organization
- Operate kitchen equipment safely, including ovens, broiler, and pizza ovens
- Support team efforts during peak service times
