Job Requirements

Experience or training sufficient to perform the tasks
dexterity and safety in handling kitchen tools
ability to interpret cooking instructions and specifications
knowledge of materials and technical cooking practices
capability to work without more than normal supervision
adherence to safe work practices
willingness to work part-time 20 hours per week

ability to work with limited supervision
skills in operating kitchen equipment
attention to detail in following instructions
experience in preparing nutritious meals

Prepare high-quality nutritious meals for veterans
adhere to food safety and hygiene standards
interpret and follow cooking instructions and specifications
use and maintain kitchen tools and equipment safely
work efficiently without more than normal supervision
maintain clean and organized food preparation areas
comply with VA health and safety policies
