Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- basic cooking skills or culinary training
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- willingness to undergo background checks and drug screening
- capability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- enthusiasm for learning and adaptability
- physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform kitchen duties
Job Qualifications
- culinary or hospitality school graduate is preferred
- experience in food service environments such as hospitals, schools, or colleges is an asset
- strong teamwork and communication skills
- ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
- basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation
- elementary math skills for inventory and portioning
- positive attitude and strong work ethic
Job Duties
- prepare and present delicious meals following executive chef menus
- inventory and portion ingredients accurately
- assist with kitchen prep work
- maintain dish room cleanliness and sanitation
- manage dry stock and perishable food inventories
- adhere to food safety and hygiene standards
- contribute to a team-oriented work environment
