Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two year degree or apprenticeship in culinary arts
- Up to date sanitation classes
- Ability to work standing for 8 to 12 hours a day
- Ability to lift and carry up to 100 pounds occasionally
- Ability to bend, squat, kneel, climb and reach above shoulders frequently
- Dexterity to use all kitchen equipment safely
- Ability to work in extreme temperature ranges
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Ability to perform repetitive hand motions frequently

- Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English
- Ability to follow directions and maintain positive working relationships
- Experience in operating kitchen equipment safely
- Capability to utilize computer systems for order processing
- Skill in preparing food according to standard recipes and presentation guidelines
- Physical stamina to work long hours standing
- Flexibility to work varied hours
Job Duties
- Provide food as dictated by the menu, guests or management in a clean safe and timely manner
- Keep a clean work area and a positive attitude, helping out wherever necessary to deliver a product that will exceed our guest's expectations
- Read, write and communicate verbally in English
- Follow directions and maintain good working relationships with supervisors and managers
- Follow proper payroll and uniform procedures
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and properly
- Utilize the computer system to read all orders
- Prepare and present all foods for meal service on a timely basis
- Handle all types of food and rotate it according to established procedure
- Work closely with standard recipes and plate presentation to maintain quality standards
- Work standing for up to ten hours in a kitchen environment
- Ensure a clean, neat and organized work area
- Work flexible hours
- Cook a wide variety of foods using modern and classical techniques
- Work with cutlery proficiently and safely
