Job Requirements

  • Semi-flexible work schedule from early mornings to midafternoon Monday Friday
  • experience in breakfast and deli cooking
  • high accountability and detail orientation
  • ability to handle multiple orders simultaneously
  • knowledge of food safety rules and regulations
  • strong teamwork and communication skills
  • legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Job Qualifications

  • Be a self-starter who works independently with minimal supervision
  • minimum of 3 years of restaurant breakfast cooking experience and 2 years deli cooking experience
  • ability to cook breakfast at a high rate, making 2-3 orders simultaneously
  • ability to work the deli station with 2-3 orders at a time
  • ability to understand what is needed and the time it takes to prepare
  • strong organizational, analytical, communication and culinary skills required
  • legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • ability to read and interpret recipes and food menu specifications
  • highly flexible and analytical, pro-active team player
  • excellent knowledge of food and hygiene standards
  • must hold a valid Food Handlers Certificate, recognized by local authorities (e.g., SERV Safe)
  • meticulous time management skills with the ultimate attention to detail
  • high sense of urgency with the ability to complete tasks in a timely manner
  • common sense, deductive reasoning & forward thinking
  • great attendance record, punctual and always on time

Job Duties

  • Leadership, management and accountability
  • passionate about gourmet food
  • comply with all food safety rules and regulations
  • ability to read and execute corporate recipes
  • clean and sanitize station as needed and at end of shift
  • keeping waste logs up to date for financial controlling review
  • complete all FSQ logs in real time with accordance with FSQ standards
  • follow working / batch recipes using the proper tools (e.g. scales, scoops etc.)
