Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age with a satisfactory driving record
- Possess a valid Class A or B CDL
- Ability to work Monday through any day of the week, starting as early as midnight
- Physically capable of meeting the demands of the job, including heavy lifting and extensive physical activity
- Willingness to work in outdoor environments exposed to weather, noise, and diesel fumes
Job Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Clean and satisfactory driving record
- Ability to follow safety protocols and company procedures
- Experience operating heavy commercial vehicles preferred
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to perform physical labor and work in various weather conditions
- Basic mechanical aptitude for vehicle inspections
Job Duties
- Safely operate a Commercial CDL Truck delivering dumpster containers to various customer locations
- Determine the best and safest drop off locations for dumpsters to avoid property damage
- Operate hydraulic hand controls to lift and load dumpsters on and off the truck carefully
- Secure dumpster loads properly, cover loads, and account for weight shifts before departing
- Read route sheets accurately and service each customer on the route or as assigned by the dispatcher
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety
- Interact courteously and professionally with customers
- Perform other job-related tasks as assigned
