Job Requirements
- 6 months previous CDL experience or recent graduation from accredited CDL program - Class B or Class A
- No more than 1 moving violation or accident in the last 12 months, no more than 2 moving violations or accidents in the last 36 months
- No DUI, DWI, reckless driving in the last 3 years
- Must meet FMCSA requirements
Job Qualifications
- Valid Class B or Class A CDL
- Recent graduation from accredited CDL program acceptable
- Ability to operate ready-mix concrete trucks
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA requirements
- Good physical stamina
- Ability to maintain a clean driving record
- Attention to safety protocols
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
Job Duties
- Drive truck under loading hopper to receive sand, gravel, cement, and water and start mixer
- Drive truck to location for unloading
- Move levers on truck to release concrete down truck chute into wheelbarrow or other conveying container or directly into area to be poured
- Clean truck after delivery to prevent concrete from hardening in mixer and on truck
- Spray surfaces of truck with protective compound to prevent adhering of concrete
- Assemble cement chute
- Perform other duties as assigned
