Blue Skies of Texas is a distinguished senior living community located in San Antonio, Texas, with two campuses: Blue Skies East and Blue Skies West. Established originally as Air Force Village I in 1970 and followed by Air Force Village II in 1987, the community was designed to support retired officers of the armed forces and their families. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of two years' experience in a customer service-related role preferred
  • proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • familiarity with scheduling tools beneficial
  • possesses a valid Texas driver's license
  • ability to work core hours from 8 am through 5 pm, Monday through Friday
  • flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays occasionally
  • business casual dress code suitable for indoor and outdoor activities
  • must maintain a neat and professional appearance
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Serve as primary point of contact for residents, ensuring a welcoming and professional experience
  • respond promptly to resident inquiries and coordinate requested services
  • schedule and communicate with service providers to ensure timely and high-quality service delivery
  • assist with front desk operations, including answering calls, responding to emails, and handling in-person inquiries
  • provide residents with accurate information about community services, activities, and resources
  • maintain organized records of service requests, schedules, invoices, and vendor communications
  • build positive relationships with residents to foster a sense of community and ensure satisfaction
  • address resident concerns and escalate issues as necessary to the resident director
  • monitor and restock front desk supplies or village store as needed to ensure smooth daily operations
  • support community events or initiatives as needed to enhance resident engagement and participation
