Job Requirements

  • Must be a high school graduate
  • Must be a team player with a positive and considerate attitude
  • Must be organized and able to handle multiple tasks at one time
  • Must have knowledge of computers

  • Must be willing to perform various functions
  • Must read, know, follow and explain personnel, department and facility policies as they pertain to the Business Office
  • Must be able to be cheerful and represent a positive, professional first impression at all times

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience in a concierge or front desk role preferred
  • Strong computer skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to multitask and handle stressful situations effectively
  • Knowledge of emergency response procedures
  • Positive and professional attitude
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Job Duties

  • Answer phones and route calls to the appropriate person or department
  • Ensure all entering sign in via kiosk
  • Call resident apartment to announce visitor before sending visitor to apartment
  • Enter work orders for housekeeping, pest control, and or maintenance issues as called in or requested by residents, staff, and or guests
  • Accept packages, monitor for postal delivery, and pick up
  • Call residents who have received packages or deliveries
  • Inform immediately the Executive Director and other department heads when officials enter the building
  • Understand how to initiate assistance from local medical professionals such as police, EMT (911)
  • Know building layout and assist emergency services in locating resident units in emergencies
  • Have working knowledge of fire alarm panel and direct resident response in emergencies
  • Receive and deliver flowers and initiate calls to appropriate persons
  • Assist individuals completing applications and direct them to the appropriate department head
  • Meet and greet all new residents
  • Assist visitors, families and employees as needed
  • Follow security procedures to secure the building during evening shifts and make rounds throughout the building
  • Make rounds throughout common areas during overnight shifts to ensure building security and resident safety
  • Deliver newspapers to resident doors throughout the building
  • Complete resident daily check-in at 10am during day shifts, including visits to resident apartments
  • Respond to resident emergency calls as they occur
  • Be available to assist before, during, and after any type of disaster
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
