Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Prior customer service experience
- Front desk and telephone experience preferred
- Valid Texas driver's license is required along with good driving record
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong problem-solving skills, good judgement, and attention to detail
- Understanding of HIPAA requirements
- Proficient in PC skills including Microsoft Office, Word, and some Excel
- Must be willing to undergo a routine background check

Job Duties
- Remains alert throughout the shift to quickly respond to emergencies or requests for assistance
- Monitors all incoming public traffic and assists with questions
- Track incoming/outgoing residents and guests
- Receives guests and others in a courteous, polite, and warm manner
- Maintains cleanliness and orderliness of common areas and all other areas visible to the public
- Responds to the needs of residents, families, prospective residents, vendors, and visitors by providing immediate and courteous assistance
- Locks and unlocks doors at designated times, according to community protocol
- Answers telephone and determines nature of call and relays information or routes call as appropriate
- Operates paging/telephone system as required
- Makes hourly rounds inside and outside the community to ensure the safety of residents, staff, and visitors
- Escorts residents, staff, or visitors to their vehicles and parks resident's vehicles upon request
- Assists with maintenance orders through an electronic maintenance order system
- Addresses equipment malfunctions (fire, alarm, etc.) and assists with repairs as appropriate
- Monitors emergency calls, doors, and fire alarms and responds in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Responds promptly to emergency/fire alarms and any perceived threat to community or individual safety
- Follows established procedures for contacting appropriate authorities, assisting residents and staff
- Sets up or takes down for activities as requested
- Maintains a professional appearance and good personal hygiene per company policies
