Job Duties

  • Acts as an ambassador by providing assistance and information to patients and visitors
  • Assess each patient and visitor's age-specific needs and provide appropriate care
  • Oversee waiting areas and promptly resolve requests, issues, or complaints
  • Escort and assist patients and visitors to desired locations or vehicles
  • Offer assistance with wheelchairs as needed
  • Answer telephone calls promptly and provide accurate information
  • Maintain a neat and organized lobby environment and notify environmental services of spills or litter
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient information and limit work-related discussions to private areas
