  • able to sit for extended periods
  • willing to work weekends and holidays as assigned
  • may work shifts other than the one hired for
  • may work extended hours up to 16 hours per day

  • able to handle exposure to infectious diseases
  • capable of managing hostile or emotionally upset residents
  • may have image used in social media or community advertising
  • may be video recorded in residents' apartments

Job Duties

  • Provide positive first impression to all who enter the community
  • answer and screen all incoming telephone calls courteously and professionally
  • greet all visitors in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner
  • require visitors to sign in at reception desk
  • notify residents of visitors
  • instruct resident's visitors according to resident's instructions
  • receive and process incoming mail
  • accept all outgoing mail and packages
  • type, copy, order, and maintain inventory of office supplies
  • perform other clerical duties as assigned
  • maintain and update emergency phone number log
  • maintain and update emergency contact information on each resident
  • assist managers with clerical responsibilities
  • page staff as necessary
  • take RSVPs for special functions
  • oversee sign-up for scheduled transportation
  • hand out maintenance request forms and pass them to Environmental Services Director
  • perform light housekeeping duties as necessary
