Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- at least 1 year of experience in a customer service role
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- proficiency with basic office equipment such as fax machines and photocopiers
- dependable and responsible work ethic
- willingness to work flexible hours including holidays
- compassionate attitude towards elderly residents
Job Qualifications
- Enjoy providing exceptional customer service and care to senior residents
- appreciate the value of being a dependable and responsible member of a team
- at least 1 year of experience in a customer service setting preferred
- prior experience working in senior living or other healthcare environment preferred, but not required
- ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and the general public
- compassion and desire to work with the elderly
Job Duties
- Provide top-notch customer service to all residents, family members, vendors, and employees
- answer telephone, transfer calls, take and deliver accurate messages
- distribute resident and office mail
- fax and photocopy documents as requested
- assist with maintenance of files as needed
- maintain front desk and lobby areas, ensuring they are clean and free from clutter
- greet and direct visitors to the community
- receive, sort, and forward incoming mail
- coordinate the pick-up and delivery of express mail services
- resolve customer questions and concerns
- create and maintain a welcoming, professional atmosphere
- serve as the first point of contact for residents, families, vendors, and guests
- serve as backup for tour inquiries
- act as the hub for the community
