Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • demonstrated customer service experience
  • proficiency with Microsoft Office and Sunrise software applications
  • ability to multitask and manage time effectively
  • strong written and verbal communication
  • knowledge of safety and risk management practices
  • willingness to participate in required training
  • ability to work collaboratively in a team
  • clear background check and drug test
  • compliance with vaccination requirements as applicable

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Oversee the community entry area for visitors, guests, and residents
  • extend a warm welcome and greeting
  • offer and provide beverages to visitors and guests
  • ensure community safety protocols are in place
  • contact DOS, ED, or Department Coordinator to meet prospective residents and families
  • greet potential career candidates and assist with recruitment process
  • answer incoming telephone calls and resident calls promptly with appropriate greetings
  • take and communicate messages accurately
  • provide community overview to callers and direct calls accordingly
  • manage appointments for residents and family members
  • send get well and sympathy cards as needed
  • order memorial flowers and guest meals for move-in days
  • create and maintain marketing and move-in packet inventory
  • support DOS with lead tracking and customer relationship management
  • keep front desk and bistro areas neat and stocked
  • monitor bistro cleanliness and refreshments
  • maintain music playing in bistro
  • ensure front desk coverage when stepping away
  • partner with community team to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • practice safety procedures including PPE use and emergency protocols
  • maintain resident and team member rosters and schedules
  • champion Safe Leaving Program
  • respond to emergencies per policy
  • ensure guest and resident sign-in/out compliance
  • maintain high-risk elopement list
  • update resident phone list, move-in/out register, and guest logs
  • prepare and process meal tickets and payments
  • organize and distribute mail and newspapers
  • post daily menu on menu board
  • assist BOC/HR with recruitment data entry
  • monitor and order office supplies
  • track and disperse team member paychecks
  • participate as a committed team member
  • demonstrate Team Member Credo
  • contribute to engagement programs
  • attend regular meetings
  • maintain compliance with required training
  • perform other duties as assigned
