Job Requirements

high school diploma or equivalent
willingness to submit to background and drug screen
minimum 3-6 months prior experience in loss prevention, life safety, CCTV or access computer systems
state guard license required
ability to maintain professional image
strong discipline and alertness
ability to work with urgency
effective communication skills
ability to handle multiple priorities

Job Duties

control entrances and movement of pedestrian and vehicle traffic
patrol buildings and perimeters
escort material and personnel
inspect security and fire exposures
undertake special assignments
report suspicious activity and investigate incidents
monitor cameras and equipment
complete daily activity and incident reports
communicate with security supervisor
ensure safety equipment operation
