Job Description

Job Requirements
- At least 21 years of age
- Must pass a background check
- Possession of current OLCC Service Permit and Food Handler Permits or ability to obtain permits before first day of employment
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work approximately 8-12 hours per week
- Must provide own black pants and black shoes
- Ability to stand, walk, lift frequently (up to 35 pounds, occasionally 36-50 pounds)
- Ability to move bar equipment, tables, and chairs
Job Qualifications
- One year of customer service experience preferred
- Food service and bartending experience helpful but not required
- Possession of current OLCC Service Permit and Food Handler Permits or ability to obtain permits before first day of employment
- Knowledge of beer, wine, and basic mixed drinks
- Understanding of proper sanitation procedures and safe food handling practices
- Skill in handling money, making change, and reconciliation of inventory
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude while working with diverse customers and staff in a fast paced environment
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to interact tactfully with the public
- Ability to work under pressure, maintaining professional demeanor
- Ability to mix drinks or learn to do so within the first 30 days of employment
Job Duties
- Prepares all items needed for assigned bar or stand
- Sets up concession stands following established procedures
- Prepares and sells food and beverages
- Operates a point of sale (POS) system
- Cleans up bar and lobby areas after each event
- Responsible for accounting of all liquor, beer, wine, food, and souvenir items issued and moneys and charges received
- Reconciles inventory
- Supports and respects diversity in the workplace
- Performs related and other duties as assigned
