Job Requirements
- Previous catering or food service experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work flexible event days and times
- Ability to supervise and manage teams
- Knowledge of food safety laws
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to stand for prolonged periods, bend, lift and carry approximately 30 lbs
Job Qualifications
- Previous catering or food service experience with progressing responsibilities
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- People-oriented with excellent guest service skills
- Team-oriented, courteous, able to delegate tasks, and maintain standards
- Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
- ServSafe certified preferred
Job Duties
- Work with new team members event-to-event to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment
- Manage personnel in one or multiple food service areas ensuring hot food is hot, cold beverages are cold, and speed of service standards are met
- Delegate tasks in an upbeat and courteous manner
- Follow up with team members and coach them on-the-fly while adapting to different methods
- Perform pre- and post-event responsibilities
- Oversee food operations while complying with local and state food safety laws
- Ensure completion of cleaning and sanitizing checklists, time-temperature logs, inventory counts, cash management, and other operational functions
