Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 years old
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs or less
  • Schedule flexibility to accommodate weekend shifts
  • Ability to work in environments with noise heat dampness and cold
  • Ability to perform bending pulling and squatting motions
  • Ability to follow safety precautions to avoid occupational and biohazards
  • Ability to participate in a customer focused and team-oriented environment
  • Basic CPR/AED certification or ability to obtain within 60 days for Concession Shift Lead

Job Qualifications

  • Must be of legal age to perform the duties of the positions
  • Any combination of training and experience with concessions or food preparation for Concession Cook
  • Any combination of training and experience equivalent to three months of restaurant or concessions management experience for Concession Shift Lead
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • ServSafe certification preferred
  • Basic CPR/AED certification or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire for Concession Shift Lead
  • Prior experience working at Missoula Park & Recreation facilities preferred
  • Knowledge of food preparation and sanitation requirements
  • Skill in following oral and written instructions
  • Skill in multitasking and effective customer service
  • Skill in communicating with diverse individuals
  • Ability to participate in a customer focused and team-oriented environment
  • Ability to maintain integrity and discretion with confidential information
  • Ability to support a positive team environment
  • Ability to resolve conflicts with calm demeanor

Job Duties

  • Execute daily food preparation tasks including morning prep restocking items setting up and closure of line items and steam tables
  • Comply with the Concession Cook Handbook
  • Operate kitchen appliances and handheld equipment such as ovens slicers and fryers
  • Perform point-of-sale transactions while providing friendly customer service
  • Prepare and handle food in accordance with health and safety standards
  • Maintain food temperatures freshness and proper storage
  • Oversee cleanliness and organization of concession areas including outside seating and party areas
  • Greet patrons and complete accurate food orders in a timely manner
  • Lead a team in providing high-quality food service at concession facilities
  • Assist with training concessions staff
  • Provide support to staff members and maintain effective workflows
  • Ensure all daily food preparation needs are met and delegate food preparation tasks
  • Receive and accurately store food deliveries
  • Ensure opening and closing procedures for all Parks & Recreation facilities
  • Collaborate with team members to support the creation of new menu items and tournament specials
  • Assign deep cleaning tasks and maintain facility cleanliness
  • Ensure all health and safety requirements are met according to Servsafe guidelines
