Job Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- At least 22 years of age
- One year recent over-the-road (OTR) driving experience for company drivers
- Six months recent OTR experience for lease drivers
- No participation in substance abuse programs within the last 10 years
Job Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- At least one year of recent over-the-road driving experience for company drivers
- Six months of recent over-the-road experience for lease drivers
- Ability to pass Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screening
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to safety and compliance
Job Duties
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently
- Ensure compliance with all applicable transportation laws and regulations
- Complete daily vehicle inspections and report mechanical issues
- Maintain clear communication with dispatch and clients
- Handle drop and hook dry van freight with minimal physical handling
- Follow scheduled routes and delivery times
- Keep accurate logs of driving hours and freight details
