Job Description
Bellingham | Whatcom County Tourism is a dedicated organization focused on enhancing the local economy by promoting tourism within Whatcom County. This regional tourism body is committed to attracting visitors to explore and enjoy the many unique attractions, accommodations, and natural outdoor adventures the area has to offer. Job Requirements
- Must be familiar with Whatcom County attractions or eager to learn
- Ability to commit to one 3-4 hour shift per week for at least three months
- Strong communication skills
- Customer service experience preferred
- Friendly and positive attitude
- Ability to multitask
- Must be reliable and punctual

Job Duties
- Greet and welcome visitors at information centers
- Provide accurate and clear directions to local attractions and amenities
- Assist tourists and locals with inquiries about Whatcom County
- Manage multiple tasks efficiently during shifts
- Communicate effectively to deliver excellent customer service
- Stay informed about local attractions, hotels, and outdoor activities
- Participate in training trips and volunteer appreciation events
