Job Requirements

  • must be enrolled at a local university and be in good academic standing
  • must be available to work a minimum of 10 hours per week
  • able to work mandatory move-in and move-out dates
  • willing to live onsite unless an exception is granted by a Director of Operations or Senior Director of Operations
  • ability to respond to after-hours emergencies
  • flexible schedule to participate in on-call shifts
  • good organizational and multitasking skills
  • strong interpersonal skills to interact professionally with residents and team members

  • basic knowledge of leasing and property management processes
  • proficiency in using computers and office software
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • experience in customer service roles preferred

Job Duties

  • perform administrative tasks for the leasing office including copying documents, filing resident files, preparing notices, handling resident calls, organizing rent payments and other collateral materials
  • assist with sales and leasing activities including conducting virtual tours, responding to online inquiries, greeting and qualifying prospects, conducting property tours, and showing apartments
  • assist with lease preparation by generating all required lease paperwork and organizing resident lease files
  • assist with move-in and move-out processes including working mandatory move-in and move-out dates
  • answer incoming calls and set appointments for prospects to tour the property
  • perform on-campus marketing outreach to generate community awareness and qualified traffic
  • assist with coordinating resident functions such as parties, birthday cards, unit visits, and other programs to achieve resident satisfaction goals
  • schedule and conduct resident visits, distribute notices such as flyers, newsletters, resident surveys, and late notices
  • act as an after-hours liaison between residents and property management, respond to after-hours emergencies and participate in mandatory on-call schedule
  • respond quickly and courteously to resident concerns and questions, take prompt action to solve problems and document or convey requests to appropriate individuals
  • live onsite unless an exception is granted
  • work a minimum of 10 hours per week
  • perform other duties as assigned
