Job Requirements

  • Valid CDL A license
  • Valid medical certification
  • Verified tractor-trailer driving experience of at least 1 year in the last 3 years or 5 years in the last 10 years
  • Knowledge of DOT safety regulations
  • Clean motor vehicle record
  • Ability to pass drug screening
  • Willingness or possession of doubles/twin trailer endorsements

Job Duties

  • Operate commercial vehicles safely on highways and local roads in compliance with all traffic laws, company policies, and DOT regulations
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of truck mechanical condition, lights, tires, and cargo securing mechanisms
  • Secure cargo appropriately using ropes, chains, or covers and assist with loading and unloading when necessary
  • Maintain accurate logs and paperwork including driving hours, fuel stops, and delivery details in accordance with DOT regulations
  • Communicate regularly with dispatchers to receive delivery instructions, report issues, and update locations
  • Report any mechanical problems or maintenance needs to appropriate personnel
  • Uphold a clean driving record and adhere to all safety protocols
