Job Requirements
- Handling, carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to efficiently and safely stand and move around the entire facility during each shift
- Bending, stooping, kneeling, and lifting as part of daily tasks
Job Qualifications
- At least 1 year of serving experience in a fast-paced food and beverage venue
- Knowledge of liquor brands, beer, wine, champagne, non-alcoholic beverages, designated glassware, preparation methods, and garnishments
- Must meet state legal age requirements
- Must speak fluent English, other languages preferred
- Courteous, pleasant, and good natured
- Strong communication skills for interacting with guests and staff
- Alcohol awareness certification and/or valid food service permit or health/food handler card as required
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays
Job Duties
- Maintain professional appearance standards as directed in the employee handbook
- Anticipate and accommodate all the needs of the guests
- Use proper service protocol - serve all drinks to the guest's right using the right hand
- Carry trays efficiently
- Describe all drinks, specialty cocktails, wine, and beer comprehensively
- Provide professional and exceptional service
- Ensure delivery of all beverages to guests
- Maintain general cleanliness of assigned stations and the entire venue
- Follow supervisor's instructions and communicate with co-workers
- Possess in-depth knowledge of all food and beverage menus
- Serve all alcoholic beverages in accordance with state regulations and alcohol awareness training
- Follow company procedures for bottle service
- Follow proper cash/payment card procedures
- Comply with health and sanitation standards
- Communicate guest needs to Front-of-House and Heart-of-House staff, managers, and chefs
- Properly set up cocktail lounge/bar and side stations
- Perform side work and opening/closing procedures as directed
- Ensure lounge furniture is clean and free of debris
- Report breakage or damage to management
- Attend daily pre-shift meetings
- Participate in training sessions and departmental meetings
- Learn by listening, observing, and leading by example
- Portray a positive and professional attitude
- Demonstrate knowledge of Live! Hospitality and its partners
- Provide help and support to all team members
